I've always wanted to interact with other learners of Mandarin more closely. Get to know their progress and how they learn it. In doing so, you learn from them. See their study methods, their textbooks, their tips.

So, I've added a feature to the site that allows you guys to start your own blogs here on Social Mandarin. Post your stories on learning this language! Had funny mishap the other day? Does something intrigue you? Have some tips you want to share? Did you have success in speaking with a native speaker? Want someone to critique your speaking or writing?

The only criteria is that your blog must be about Mandarin somehow. Even if you type your diary here with some interesting Mandarin words in between, that's perfect!

For now however, it will be just a testing phase to see how things go. But please don't hesitate to start blogging! We might have some blogging competitions in the future as well.

How do I follow the other blogs?

You can either click here or add use this RSS Feed

I want to link my blog to my friends or other Mandarin learners, how do I do it?

Your blog is linked to your username. My blog is at http://socialmandarin.com/blog/confused_laowai
So just replace my username with yours. Spaces get replaced with an underscore "_". You can also just click on Blogs on the left hand menu and go to "My Blog" for the correct link if you are unsure.
