Guangzhou and Macau signed memorandum of co-operation to enhance co-operations on convention and exhibition industry, tourism, trading and cultural business in the Nansha district, Guangzhou city on 18 July. Both the Chief Executive of Macau SAR and the Mayor of Guangzhou comment the co-operation would have positive effects on those industries, as well as closer communications between the two cities.
